Streaming Mode

Choose how streams are delivered to Stremio. Desktop Native mode requires Stremio v5 on Windows desktop.

NZBDav mode uses WebDAV streaming and works on all platforms. Desktop Native mode streams directly via NNTP (experimental, Windows only).

Indexer Manager

Manager Type Manager URL API Key Indexer IDs / Names Comma-separated list of indexers this addon may query. Prowlarr: numeric IDs, with -1 meaning “all Usenet indexers”. NZBHydra: type the indexer names exactly as shown in Hydra. I have paid subscriptions with (comma separated) Comma-separated IDs/names of indexers where you have an active paid plan. Health checks only run against these. Grab limits per indexer (comma separated, same order) Max NZBs to grab per request from each paid indexer above. Same order as the indexer list. Default: 6 per indexer. Strict ID Matching Only Applies to both manager and direct Newznab searches. ID-only mode skips text queries.

Direct Newznab Indexers (Optional)

Add one or more direct Newznab endpoints. Enable them to search alongside your manager (or run manager-free), test each row, and reorder to control priority.

No indexers added yet. Pick a preset or add one manually.

Filter to NZB URLs Only Drops results whose download link is not an NZB. Applies to direct Newznab indexers only (not managers like Hydra/Prowlarr). Recommended.

Built-in Easynews Indexer

Provide your Easynews credentials to let the addon search Easynews directly (no external bridge required). Only the username and password are needed.

Result Sorting & Filters

Release Exclusions Comma-separated list of items to exclude from results. Click "Show Examples" for available options.

Release Preferences (Optional) These preferences are used by Sorting Priority when the matching key is present.

Preferred Quality Source (optional) Quality here means source/release type (e.g. REMUX, BluRay, WEB-DL), not resolution. Preferred Encodes (optional) Preferred Release Groups (optional) Preferred Visual Tags (optional) Preferred Audio Tags (optional) Preferred Keywords (optional) Comma-separated title keywords used in custom sorting only.

Stream Naming

Customize how streams appear in Stremio. Leave blank to use the default. Easiest way: enter a comma-separated list of fields.

Stream Label Fields (Short Name) Comma-separated fields. Example: addon, health, instant, resolution. quality and resolution both show resolution. Use stream_quality for actual parsed quality only. Advanced templates are still supported if you use {...}. Description Fields (Long Title) Comma-separated fields. Example: title, stream_quality, health, source, codec, visual, audio, group, size, languages, indexer. Use stream_quality for actual parsed quality (e.g., BluRay/WEB-DL). Advanced templates are still supported if you use {...}.

Protection Modes

Stream links stay valid as long as the file exists in NZBDav.	⚡ Instant results, fastest playback start time	You always play what you click. Use this if you are picky about what you play. Only Smart Play itself has built-in auto-advance to the next verified NZB.

Smart Play also has its own auto-advance. Pre-cache Option

Setting	Behavior
ON	With Smart Play, the fastest-verified NZB is queued to NZBDav immediately. Without Smart Play, the top result is pre-downloaded before you click. Speeds up playback for the top result but may delay other results if NZBDav is busy processing the pre-cached file.
OFF	Nothing is queued until you click. Your click gets NZBDav's full attention.

NNTP Health Check Credentials

Health check: Lightweight verification that the required articles are available.

Archive check: Blocks NZBs that look complete but only contain samples, nested archives, or no playable video.

Stream Status Legend

✅ Green: verified — direct video or stored archive (copy-only). Expected to play.
⚠️ Unverified: articles present but archive not inspected (e.g., 7z). Might or might not play.
🚫 Red: blocked — missing articles or unsupported/compressed archive. Will not play.

Usenet Provider Host Usenet Provider Port Use TLS Usenet Provider Username Usenet Provider Password Number of NZBs to Inspect Pick 2 for the fastest responses, 4 or 6 to probe more candidates. Max Usenet Connections Keep this ≤ 2 × “Number of NZBs to Inspect”, and ensure the combined total of these connections plus any NZBDav connections stays within your provider’s max.

TMDb Metadata & Localization (Optional)

When enabled, fetches metadata directly from TMDb (skips Cinemeta) and adds localized title searches for non-English content. Example: A Telugu movie will search with its original Telugu title, English title, and any additional languages you select below.

Enable TMDb Metadata

TMDb API Read Access Token Paste your v4 API Read Access Token from themoviedb.org/settings/api. TMDb requests use this token when metadata is enabled. Search Mode "English only" keeps TMDb searches in English unless you explicitly add languages below. "English + regional" also adds the title in its original language.

TVDB ID Mapping (Optional)

Enable to resolve TVDB ↔ IMDb IDs for series. This improves ID-based searches when only one of the IDs is available.

Addon Metadata

Addon Display Name Appears in Stremio as the addon title. Public Base URL Stream Token (highly recommended) Token embedded in manifest and stream URLs. Defaults to your admin secret if left blank. Changing this does NOT affect admin access but will change your manifest URL and all older links.
